Cathédrale de Lumière

Cathédrale de Lumière will take place from Saturday 30th of May to Saturday 26th of September 2026, at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Rouen (Seine-Maritime, Normandy). This spectacular event features a monumental light creation that wraps the cathedral’s Gothic architecture in a succession of projections, colours, textures and rhythms, inspired by artistic, historical or symbolic themes. As night falls, audiences are invited to enjoy an immersive and poetic experience, where light and music interact to reveal the sculptures, stained glass windows and volumes of the building in a new way. Open to all, this artistic installation is renewed each year and becomes, throughout the summer months, a major visual and cultural highlight in Normandy, attracting locals, visitors and lovers of visual arts in a magical, contemplative and shared atmosphere.
