Floraison Sauvage & Cathedral Light Show

From May 29th to September 26th 2026, Rouen hosts “Floraison Sauvage”, an immersive and colourful creation by internationally renowned Japanese photographer and film director Mika Ninagawa, as part of the Normandie Impressionniste festival. With its vibrant, floral and pop-inspired universe, the installation invites visitors into a unique sensory experience, complemented by “First Impression” to extend the artistic journey. As night falls, the experience continues with the famous Rouen Cathedral light show. Each summer, the façade of Notre-Dame Cathedral comes alive with a spectacular sound and light display, gathering visitors and locals alike for an emotional and unforgettable moment in the heart of the city.
