CIC Normandy Channel Race

The CIC Normandy Channel Race will take place from May 27th to June 7th 2026, with the start scheduled for Sunday May 31st 2026 at 2:00 pm, departing from Ouistreham / Caen (Calvados, Normandy). This iconic offshore sailing race, reserved for Class40 monohulls, covers a demanding course of around 1,000 nautical miles through the English Channel, the Celtic Sea, and along the Irish and British coastlines, combining endurance, tactics and adventure at sea. Beyond the sporting challenge, the event features an open race village, harbour-side activities and maritime gatherings, offering both sailors and visitors a full immersion into the world of offshore racing, where sport, sea and Normandy’s maritime heritage come together.
