D-Day Festival Normandy
The D-Day Festival Normandy will take place from May 30th to June 14th 2026, along the entire coastline of the D-Day landing beaches — from Utah Beach to Sword Beach, via Omaha, Gold and Juno — as well as in cities such as Caen and Bayeux.
The event commemorates the 82nd anniversary of the Allied landings on 6 June 1944 and features a rich programme including historical re-enactments, parachute drops, vintage vehicle parades, concerts, performances, exhibitions, film screenings, memorial ceremonies, fireworks, and visits to museums and historic sites — nearly 100 events spread along the Normandy coast.
Visitors and history enthusiasts enjoy a powerful experience blending remembrance, history, emotion, celebration and discovery, across beaches, cemeteries, museums, bunkers and memorial sites, alongside cultural and festive events paying tribute to freedom regained.
