Deauville Aqua Challenge

The Deauville Aqua Challenge 2025 will be held on Sunday August 3rd on Deauville’s main beach. This leg of the national EDF Aqua Challenge circuit, organised by the Fédération Française de Natation, features open water swimming events open to all, with or without a licence.

Distances on the programme include :

• 500 m discovery (licence required)
• 1.7 km open
• 3.4 km open
• 5 km open and 5 km FFN (FFN/FINA/FFHANDI licence required)

The event focuses on conviviality, challenging yourself and accessibility, with courses suitable for all levels. Refreshment points will be available on the 1.7km and 3.4km courses, as well as at the finish of each race. Also new this year: the introduction of a team event for an even more dynamic competition.
