Deauville American Film Festival

The Deauville American Film Festival will take place from September 4th to 13th 2026, in the chic seaside resort of Deauville (Calvados, Normandy). Founded in 1975, this flagship festival celebrates American cinema in all its diversity — from major Hollywood productions to independent films, from feature-length works to shorts, fiction or documentaries. Each year, more than a hundred screenings are held across several iconic venues (Centre International, Casino-Barrière cinema, Le Morny cinema…), giving audiences the chance to attend premieres and previews, meet directors and actors, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the event. The festival is renowned for its glamorous, festive and accessible vibe, blending red carpets, a seaside setting, 24-hour screenings and shared moments — turning Deauville for one week into the French capital of American cinema.
