Books & Music Festival

The Deauville Books & Music Festival is an annual event celebrating the links between literature and music. Since its creation in 2004, every spring it has brought together novelists, biographers, illustrators, comic book authors, writer-singers and other artists for meetings, readings, literary concerts and book signings.
The 22ᵉ edition of the festival will be held in le from May 9th to 11th 2025 at Les Franciscaines, an iconic cultural venue in Deauville. Among the highlights planned:
- Meetings with the finalist authors: Discussions with the writers shortlisted for the Prix Livres & Musiques 2025.
- Big signing session: An opportunity to meet some thirty authors, publishers and illustrators from the children’s world for discussions and book signings.
- Presentation of the 2025 Livres & Musiques Prize: Ceremony presided over by Jérôme Garcin, president of the jury, and Philippe Augier, mayor of Deauville.
- Literary concerts: Performances combining reading and music, with artists such as Marie Modiano and Pascal Quignard.
The festival also features workshops for young people, exhibitions and other events, offering a rich and varied cultural experience for visitors of all ages.
