Terres de Paroles Festival

The Terres de Paroles Festival will take place from May 23rd to 30th 2026, in the Seine-Maritime department (Normandy). This itinerant literary and cultural festival brings together literature, theatre, readings, concerts, performances, author talks, poetry, writing and spoken arts. Hosted across a variety of venues — theatres, stages, heritage sites, gardens and unexpected locations —, the festival turns the region into a living stage, inviting audiences to experience words beyond the page through intense, sensitive and engaged encounters. Terres de Paroles is known for its eclectic, open, intergenerational and accessible programme, encouraging sharing, emotion and cultural cross-pollination for readers and lovers of language alike.
