Joan of Arc Celebrations

The Joan of Arc Celebrations will take place from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th of May 2026, in Rouen (Seine-Maritime, Normandy). For their 5th edition, these festivities honour the memory and history of Joan of Arc, an emblematic figure of the city and of Normandy, through a rich programme combining historical ceremonies, re-enactments, parades, entertainment, concerts, medieval markets, street performances and family activities. Over three days, Rouen is transformed to offer visitors an immersive journey into the medieval era, with highlights such as official ceremonies, costumed parades and commemorative moments, all within a friendly and popular atmosphere. Designed as a cultural, festive and heritage-focused event, the Joan of Arc Celebrations invite residents and visitors alike to experience history in the present, through a celebration that blends local history, live performance and shared enjoyment.
