Monet Exhibition in Le Havre
The Monet Exhibition in Le Havre will take place from June 5th to September 27th 2026, at the MuMa – André Malraux Museum of Modern Art in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime, Normandy). This exhibition pays tribute to Claude Monet, a founding figure of Impressionism and an artist closely linked to Le Havre, the city where he painted some of his most emblematic works. Presented as part of the Normandie Impressionniste 2026 festival, it offers a rich artistic journey focusing on Monet’s early years, his vision of the harbour, the sea, light and the Norman landscapes, as well as the evolution of his style. Through major works, studies, sketches and historical documents, the exhibition invites visitors to understand how Le Havre profoundly influenced the birth and development of Impressionism. Open to all, this event stands out as a major cultural highlight of summer 2026 in Normandy and a must-see for art and heritage lovers.
