European Night of Museums

The European Night of Museums will take place on Saturday May 23rd 2026, across Normandy, as well as throughout France and Europe. On the occasion of this major cultural event, museums, exhibition venues and heritage sites open their doors free of charge in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Visitors are invited to discover collections from a different perspective through night-time visits, special activities, performances, concerts, screenings and workshops, specially designed for the event. With a playful, curious and friendly atmosphere, the Night of Museums appeals to families and art lovers alike, offering an accessible and festive cultural experience at dusk.
