Kite Festival

The Kite Festival will take place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of May 2026, on the beach of Trouville-sur-Mer (Calvados, Normandy). This colourful seaside event brings together families, enthusiasts and curious visitors around kite flying, acrobatic demonstrations, hands-on workshops and festive activities on the sand and along the seafront. In a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, pilots — from beginners to experienced flyers — showcase creative designs, giant kites and spectacular aerial figures, offering an impressive visual display against the sea. Designed as a moment of sharing, discovery and outdoor enjoyment, the festival invites young and old alike to marvel, take part in workshops and enjoy entertainment throughout the weekend, making it a much-loved spring highlight on the Normandy coast.
