Graines de Jardin

The Graines de Jardin Festival will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of May 2026, at the Jardin des Plantes in Rouen (Seine-Maritime, Normandy). This edition focuses on the theme of African gardens, inviting visitors to explore the richness, colours and know-how inspired by African garden traditions in an exceptional botanical setting. Organised by the Rouen Normandy Metropolitan Area and the City of Rouen, the festival celebrates the plant world through a wide range of exhibitors — horticulturists, nurseries, organic producers, artisans and associations —, creative and hands-on workshops, activities for all ages, expert advice stands, and a dedicated garden swap area where individuals and enthusiasts can trade, buy or exchange plants, cuttings, seeds and equipment. Set in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere, Graines de Jardin also offers exhibitions, guided tours and demonstrations, making this free event (open from 10am to 7pm) one of the major nature and gardening highlights of the spring season in Normandy.
