August 15th at Camping du Brévedent

On the 15th of August, to celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Castel Camping Le Brévedent organises a traditional procession from the village church to the grotto of the Virgin Mary in the middle of the campsite forest. This procession brings together holidaymakers, villagers and visitors in a warm and peaceful atmosphere.

On arrival, the participants discover the statue of the Virgin, decorated with flowers and candles, creating an intimate and luminous atmosphere. Songs are then sung in chorus, accompanied by musicians specially invited for the occasion, adding to the emotion of this summer meeting.

The evening continues with a magical fireworks display over the lake as night falls. It’s a magical show that rounds off a day dedicated to the Feast of the Assumption in an exceptional natural setting.
